Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions are applicable to individuals registering as delegates for seminars and public training courses conducted by Pideya Learning Academy. By participating in our training courses, you are acknowledging your agreement to adhere to and be bound by the terms and conditions outlined below. We strongly advise you to carefully review these terms before enrolling in any of our courses.
Registration and Acceptance
Upon registering, you are submitting an offer to Pideya Learning Academy to attend the specified training course. All registrations are subject to the approval of Pideya Learning Academy, and acceptance will be communicated in writing, which may include email correspondence. The formation of a contractual agreement between you and Pideya Learning Academy will occur only when the confirmation is sent to you. This confirmation, regardless of whether it is received or not, will serve as the official confirmation, unless notified otherwise within 14 days of Pideya Learning Academy receiving your registration. Please be aware that Pideya Learning Academy reserves the right to decline any registration.
Registration Process
You agree to provide accurate and complete information during the registration process. Pideya Learning Academy reserves the right to reject or cancel any enrollment if the provided information is found to be false or misleading.
Payment Terms
Payment for the training course must be remitted in full to Pideya Learning Academy, following the payment terms currently in effect but, in any case, no later than two weeks before the scheduled Event. Failure to complete full payment prior to the course may result in Pideya Learning Academy, at its sole discretion and without assuming liability, either mandating payment as a prerequisite for entry or denying entry altogether. No refunds for any portion of previously paid Fees (if any) will be issued, and any outstanding balance of Fees will remain due and payable if entry is denied under this condition.
Discounts applicable to group registrations are valid only for the specified number of delegates. If the number of delegates attending the training course falls below the specified number due to cancellations before the Event or non-attendance, Pideya Learning Academy reserves the right to adjust Fees according to the actual number of attending delegates. Payment of such adjusted Fees must comply with the terms outlined above.
Prices for each training course are accurate at the time of publication. Pideya Learning Academy reserves the right to modify prices at its discretion; however, such changes will not affect confirmed registrations.
The parties intend that Pideya Learning Academy will receive the Fees net of all applicable taxes. The Client shall be solely responsible for paying all applicable taxes, including sales, VAT, service, or withholding taxes and bank charges. In the event of any taxes being levied on the Fees, the amount shall be increased to compensate for the taxes.
Cancellation and Refunds
Registrations canceled after confirmation by Pideya Learning Academy but more than 14 days before the course are subject to a 10% of the course fee as administration charge. Registrations canceled within 7 to 13 days before the course, a 50% refund will be issued, minus an administrative fee of 10% of the course fee. For cancellations made within 7 days of the course start date, no refund will be provided, and the full course fee will apply. Failure to attend a training course requires full payment, and no refunds will be granted. Pideya Learning Academy reserves the right to cancel a registration after confirmation, in which case all Fees paid will be refunded. The refund of registration Fees is the sole remedy in the event of registration cancellation by Pideya Learning Academy, with all other liabilities expressly excluded.
Substitutions and Transfers
Substitutions are welcome at any time, but delegate registrations are issued for personal use only. Registration transfer to third parties, sale, commercial exploitation, or any other form of transfer is strictly prohibited.
Registration for a training course may be transferred to an alternative course within 3 months of the original course date, subject to availability and payment of any additional Fees for the alternative course. No refunds are granted for transfers, and only one transfer between courses is allowed. Cancellations are not accepted after transferring to an alternative course, and full Fees remain payable.
Course Changes and Cancellations
Pideya Learning Academy reserves the right to change the format, participants, content, location, timing, or any other aspect of the training course without assuming liability.
Pideya Learning Academy may cancel or change the date of a course at any time for any reason, with or without reasonable cause. In the event of a date change, the registration will be valid for the new date if the attendee wishes to attend. If Pideya Learning Academy changes or cancels a course, a credit note or refund of the full registration Fees will be provided at the attendee’s discretion. The credit note or refund is the sole remedy in the event of course date changes or cancellations, with all other liabilities expressly excluded.
Admission and Conduct
Pideya Learning Academy reserves the right, without liability, to deny admission to or eject any person from the training program, at its absolute discretion. This includes individuals who fail to comply with these terms and conditions or are deemed a security risk, nuisance, or annoyance to the program. Compliance with reasonable instructions issued by Pideya Learning Academy or venue owners is required.
Unauthorised photography, recording, or transmitting of audio or visual material is expressly prohibited. Attendees consent to filming, sound recording, and photography, and agree to the use of such materials by Pideya Learning Academy for promotional purposes worldwide.
Intellectual Property
All course materials, including videos, documents, and presentations, are the intellectual property of Pideya Learning Academy. Reproduction, distribution, or sharing of these materials without explicit permission is prohibited.
Personal Information
Personal information provided to Pideya Learning Academy will be stored on a database and may be used by Pideya Learning Academy in the UAE for direct marketing purposes.
Liability
Pideya Learning Academy disclaims all liability for loss, injury, or damage to persons or property at the training event. All indemnities, warranties, terms, and conditions, whether express or implied, are excluded. Pideya Learning Academy accepts no liability for any loss or damage suffered in connection with the program, whether direct, indirect, consequential, or otherwise. If Pideya Learning Academy is liable, its total liability is limited to the amount of registration Fees paid.
Participation and Conduct
Active participation is essential for successful course completion. Pideya Learning Academy may evaluate and provide feedback on participant participation.
Compliance with all Pideya Learning Academy policies, including those related to academic integrity, privacy, and security, is mandatory.
Respectful treatment of instructors, staff, and fellow participants is required. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior may result in immediate dismissal without refund.
Pideya Learning Academy is committed to protecting privacy, as outlined in the Privacy Policy. By using services, consent to the terms of the Privacy Policy is implied.
Software Requirements
Participants who require training on specific software as part of the program must bring their own device (e.g., laptop) with the required software pre-installed. Pideya Learning Academy does not provide full versions of any software as part of the training.
The trainer may use a free version of the software if available and will assist participants in installing it on their devices during the session.
It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure their device meets the necessary specifications for the software.
Field Visit Requests
Field visits can be arranged as part of the training program upon prior request.
Participants must communicate such requests at the time of registration, at least 10 days before the training start date.
Pideya Learning Academy will assess the feasibility of the request and notify participants of the outcome.
Amendments
Pideya Learning Academy reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions, with the applicable terms being those in force at the time of registration.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and relevant federal laws of the UAE, with disputes subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Dubai Courts.
